Tapered Inc. (“Tapered,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates gettapered.com, the Tapered waitlist, and its referral links.

Agreement and eligibility

By using the website or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the site for a business, you represent that you may bind that business.

The waitlist is not a purchase

Joining the waitlist does not require payment, guarantee access, establish a customer relationship, reserve a launch date, or promise that Tapered will be offered in your city. Invitations, founding-shop status, referral position, features, pricing, and launch timing may change. Any future product or payment service may have separate terms presented before use.

Your information and communications

You agree to provide accurate information and not submit another person's phone number without permission. If you opt in to texts, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Referral links

You may share your referral link honestly and for personal, non-deceptive promotion. Do not use spam, automated messages, paid traffic that misrepresents Tapered, impersonation, or incentives we have not approved. We may disregard referrals or disable codes associated with abuse, fraud, or inaccurate submissions.

Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the site, bypass security or rate limits, submit malicious code, scrape the waitlist, test vulnerabilities without written permission, infringe another person's rights, or use the site unlawfully. We may restrict access or remove a waitlist entry when reasonably necessary to protect the site or others.

Ownership

The website, Tapered name and marks, designs, text, graphics, and software are owned by Tapered or its licensors and protected by applicable law. These terms give you only a limited, revocable right to use the public website for its intended purpose. They do not transfer any intellectual-property rights.

Third-party services and information

The site may link to or rely on third-party services. Tapered does not control their availability, content, or practices. Competitor pricing is provided for general comparison, may change, and should be confirmed with the provider before making a decision.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and waitlist are provided “as is” and “as available.” Tapered does not warrant that the site will always be available, error-free, secure, or that any invitation or product will be offered. Nothing on the site is legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tapered and its affiliates, owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the public website or waitlist. Tapered's total liability for claims concerning the public website or waitlist will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Tapered for that use during the preceding 12 months. Applicable law may give you rights that cannot be limited by contract.

Changes and availability

We may modify or discontinue the site or waitlist and may update these terms. We will post revised terms here with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

California law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise, claims concerning the website or waitlist must be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
